FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The American Society of Association Executives has selected Stokefire's Principal, Tate Linden, to speak at the annual convention in San Diego, California. The event runs from August 16th through the 19th.
The tentative title of the talk is Rebranding Mid-Flight - A Case Study in Rapid Identity Transformation.
Linden will lead a case study presentation that covers a recent rapid rebranding project and will follow this with a panel Q&A that will include the executive director from the organization. The focus of the program will be on the hurdles and roadblocks that were anticipated and encountered rather than the successes, so if you're considering a rebranding project with a tight deadline this is a session that should not be missed.
By attending the session you will:
1. Understand what sacrifices are made when the rebranding process is rushed – and see what the ideal process might include if the time pressure were off the table.
2. See the real-world results of a rush project and judge for yourself whether the goals were met.
3. Discuss the political tensions and ramifications of rapid identity change – and ask questions of the very people who lived through the change.
Additional information will be posted on Stokefire's corporate website and blog as the event date approaches.
Stokefire - a DC area firm specializing in verbal branding (or more simply "naming stuff") was founded in early 2005 and has established itself as a premier source of names and brands for associations and organizations in the mid Atlantic region.
