Therapon Looks To Stokefire To Beautify Verbal Branding

Growing beauty-products brand will firm up messaging

Alexandria, VA -- August 1, 2008

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Stokefire has been retained by Therapon to develop a new vocabulary for the brand.  The story is already compelling, but looks to connect even more strongly as the company expands their product lines and sales.

While treating severely burned patients, Therapon founder Dr. James S. Beckman developed a highly specialized moisturizing cream to restore mobility and softness to skin-grafted hands. Previously, the skin grafted hands were healed, but wouldn't allow the bending of fingers or grasping of objects necessary for one's livelihood. In the quest for the ultimate moisturizer a new secret ingredient was discovered that greatly enhanced moisturizer penetration and also had a unique side effect of erasing fine wrinkles and restoring youthful coloration to aging facial skin.

Dr. James Beckman, M.D. is a board certified plastic surgeon and chemist, is a life member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and founder and CEO of Therapon, Inc. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Arkansas Medical School in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1970. Dr. Beckman subsequently completed a surgery residency at the University of Arkansas Medical Center in 1975 and a plastic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in 1977.

After serving in private practice for over 24 years, Dr. Beckman now devotes his time to the skin care products and company that he created. With a lifetime interest in skin care and a degree in chemistry, he has presented papers, been an invited speaker and served on skin care/resurfacing panels at national and regional plastic surgery meetings.

He developed Therapon Skin Health over 15 years ago.

Stokefire was founded in 2005, and has already become a force in the verbal branding industry.  Located in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, Stokefire specializes in developing names, taglines, and brand strategies for non-profits, high-tech, and  "green" organizations.
