Challenge: Help doctors and patients recognize and communicate the symptoms and severity of a relatively obscure disease.
Scope: Strategy, Logos, Print Advertising, Web Banners, Tradeshow Graphics, Mailers, PSA Scripts
Results: The campaign created a new vocabulary based on the vivid and unusual descriptions already in use by patients. The campaign materials compel patients already in the doctor’s office to ask if they might be afflicted and how they can be treated. Early results show that the materials have been effective at raising awareness in the target population.
Trivia: We were surprised to learn that such a little known disease has afflicted so many well known figures - like George H.W. Bush, Joe Biden, Dick Cheney, Mario Lemieux, Gene Simmons, Barry Manilow, and Pat Robertson.
