Challenge: Create a genuine top-end boutique hotel experience – in a small town in Indiana.
Scope: Strategy, Name
Results: As part of a larger downtown branding project we borrowed the name of our client’s sister hotel in Santa Monica, California, saving significantly on design and marketing execution with an already successful brand.
Trivia: One of the alternate brands we considered for this project was rejected during the late stages of research when we found it happened to be the name of a general who deposed and killed a standing international Prime Minister, then declared martial law and assumed the presidency.
